I made coasters using 4" square ceramic tiles. I printed a picture with my computer, put it on the ceramic tile, gave the entire surface 3 coats of Mod Podge allowing 15-30 minutes drying time between coats, then finished with 2 coats of a clear acrylic sealer spray. I let it dry for 24 hours, then tried it out with a cup of hot coffee. The cup left a ring melted into the finish of the coaster. What can I use, or what can I do, to make the coasters heat resistant to be used with hot beverages?

Right now my hair color is dirty blonde I want it to be darker, but I don’t want to use permanent or semi-permanent dye because of the risk of cancer. I awnt to ry to use coffee, but I have some questions:

How?
How long does it last?
How long does the smell of coffee last?
Is there any chance of my hair getting moldy from it and stinking really bad?
Have you done it before and what are the results?
I don’t want it permanent, sorry I didn’t say that. It dyes it temporarily I now that, but Will I have to do it every day, every week, or month or what?
I’m learning to drive because it is a good skill to have, though I’ll use a bike for the rest of my life as I hate driving over 35 mph, and microwave ovens aren’t linked with cancer, I talked to my biology teacher and she says she stands in front of it all the time. I’m a vegetarian so I don’t eat from fast food places and I don’t own a cell phone.

http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip622.htm

And they are carcinogenic.
I found a reicpe:

http://www.pioneerthinking.com/brundye.html

and someone gave an answer that is very similar to the recipe here.
